Look carefully; it is now apparent why female ducks have such drab coloring. It took me a couple of mintues to actually discover the objects at which Bailey was barking. I'm still rather confused as to why she was nestled down on..nothing. Her eggs were strewn down the hillside and it didn't look like she had any new ones underneath her.
