For the Foodies

I tried a new recipe from Everyday Food last night that involves smashing cookies into crumbly bits with a hammer. It was delightful. Basically you take an entire package of shortbread cookies, smash them up, bake them, and then layer mascarpone cheese and fruit on top. This was my first experience with mascarpone and well, it was ok, but not my favorite. And I had a hard time finishing my dessert knowing just how many cookies went into each dish.
