Earth Day

Image taken from this website.

It has been a while since I last posted, mostly due to the fact that things have been pretty quiet around here. Chris had his orientation for his MBA program in Malibu this weekend so Bails and I took a long trek along the Santa Ana River and I ventured into one of the two (!) H&Ms that have just opened at South Coast Plaza. Standing in line for 30 minutes just to get a dressing room didn't appeal to me so I escaped the confines of the mall in favor of some quiet gardening at home. We were going to go for a bike ride today in celebration of earth day but it's raining in Orange County (for only the second time this year, seriously) so we're planning some indoor activities. I'm also incredibly sore from pilates class last week so a nice, relaxing weekend sounds great. I finally convinced four girls from work that they should join my pilates class and so far its been great fun. Chris and I continue to trek up to Orange for Yoga and it looks like Chris will still be able to continue with our classes despite his new schooling schedule. I'm still not adjusted to the fact that my 6'5" husband is waaaay more flexible than I am.
In case you're looking for a way to do more for earth day, the Nature Conservancy has always been one of our favorite charities.
