Chris is in class all weekend so I'm holding down the fort by myself. Bails and I went on our favorite hike in O'Neill Regional National Park. It was quiet and lovely but got rather hot towards the end of the trek.
Bailey met his first horse. The woman on the horse seemed rather surprised that Bails carried his own water. I refrained from pointing out that she, too, was making her "pet" do all the work by carrying her up the mountain. At least I don't make Bails carry my water. (or me!).There is a Buddhist monastery on the hillside across from the peak. They have dozens of honey bee hives.
Bailey isn't one for admiring the view at the top. He heads directly for his favorite bench, regardless of it's state of occupancy. Fortunately, today it was vacant.
