Tired, Sore and Content

Had a lovely day on the ski slopes with Mindy, Summer, and Ryan. Poor Chris had to stay home and study for his final exams but judging by how clean the house was when I got home, I have a sneaking suspicion that he used cleaning as a procrastination excuse for studying. Not that I'm complaining about a sparking clean house, mind you. The casa looks spectacular and I got a nice home-made dinner to boot. Not a shabby homecoming!

The skiing was decent but not great. I had a nice lesson with my instructor in the morning but things were pretty icy and windy by the afternoon and my skiing suffered. I took a nasty fall some years back on ice while snowboarding and I tend to be a bit wary of icy conditions. And, I'm not a great skier so that makes me even more nervous. But, I'm going to have the most fabulous bruise ever, thanks to a nice tumble this afternoon. I can tell it's still developing so I'll keep you posted on its progress. It's in a sensitive spot so I'll refrain from sharing photos. I have a feeling that its going to rival the giant apple-sized bruise that I gained from our  holiday at Big White last year. That one was spectacular.

Anyway, I don't have any great photos from today; mostly because my hands were too frozen to operate the camera. Plus our camera gets really sluggish in cold weather.

I've been up since 5:30 and I think I'm ready for bed. Wow, I'm setting early bed records here this week. It's only 8:42 pm!
