Seattle Bug Safari is Brian Rolf's walk on the wild side

When he met the woman who would become his wife, Brian Rolf's antennae quivered, and he was emboldened to crawl out of his shell and share his deepest obsession.

"On our very first date," Rolf said, "I made sure I told her I collect bugs. And this was back when I just collected dead ones."

Today, as owner of Seattle Bug Safari, Rolf is crawling in nearly 50 species of exotic insects, arachnids, centipedes and millipedes, which he displays at his insect zoo and gift shop on the Pike Place Market Hillclimb.
