Random Songs

We took a quick trip down to Portland this weekend for our 3rd wedding anniversary (pictures to come soon) and while in the car yesterday, the Police's Every Breath You Take song came on.

First of all, it's the ultimate stalker song. Have you ever listened to it? Seriously creepy. That aside, Chris was telling me of the version that a few Columbia University students made when their Dean, Glenn Hubbard, lost the job of replacing Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan to Ben Bernanke. Despite my usual aversion to all talk involving the words "Fed Chairman", "yield", "supply and demand", "interest rates" (etc), I do love a good parody. Check it out:

Consequently, I've had this song (the original version) stuck in my head all morning. You too, now? Good. Gotta spread the love. I don't like being the only one singing aloud to myself.

  1. That was pretty funny! I had to also view the original "Every Breath You Take". It is kind of a stalker song, isn't it!
