Nom Nom Nom

Let the Thanksgiving prep begin!

I’m trying out a recipe for a Cranberry Sparkler with fancy fruit garnishes (recipe below):
 Oh! Pretty!

Cranberry Sparkler

  • 1 1/2 ounces Blackberry Puree (see directions below)
  • 2 ounces white cranberry juice (I couldn’t find this. I’m using regular)
  • 2 to 3 ounces sparkling white wine
  • 1 sprig mint, for garnish (or, in my case, I’m using cranberry and blackberry stir sticks!!)

Directions

  1. Place blackberry puree and cranberry juice in a champagne flute. Add sparkling water to fill. Garnish with mint.

Blackberry Puree

  • 1 pint blackberries

Directions

  1. Place blackberries in the bowl of a food processor; process until pureed. Strain through a fine mesh sieve set over a medium bowl; discard solids. Keep refrigerated in an airtight container until ready to use, up to 2 days.
