Today was a tremendously eventful day because:
a) We gave Ben his first 'big boy' haircut.
He went from this:
Observe those long wispy locks, especially the funny curly one at the top.
He was not excited about the process. It was a two-parent effort: one held, the other wielded the clippers. Thus there are no pictures of the 'in-progress' stage o' the haircut.
This is the finished product... but it's hard to get a good look at his new 'do as he was squirming all over the place. We hustled him up to the bath.
It was also a great day because:
b) Chris turned 31 today.
Darling, you are a wonderful husband and magnificent father. We are so lucky to have you. Here's to another 31+++ years.
