Following our morning hike we headed over to the
Great Park for a balloon ride. The park is a former marine base (and a site with significant groundwater contamination issues) and is currently under development.

Unfortunately, the balloon is tethered to the ground and we only reached a maximum elevation of about 400 feet. But it was a beautiful day (75 degrees), clear, and it was free. Not too shabby.
