The Beast loves spending time outside and isn't wholeheartedly supportive of the new daily regimen, which includes lots of indoor time since my parents are without a fully fenced yard. This does allow for lots of time sacked out in front of the fire place but isn't quite sufficient in allowing for the sniffing and marking of exterior territory. We've resorted to leashing him on the front porch for small amounts of time to allow for some outdoor activity. While a rather poor substitute for unlimited off leash time, this does give him a bit of fresh air and time to growl at passing cats and squirrels.
