That Thar Bear

When my uncle was leaving my Grandparents' apartment today, he noticed a huge ruckus across the street at the park. TV crews, police, and firefighters were everywhere, both on the ground and in the air. Turns out that the young black bear that has been roaming around Seattle for the last few days made a brief appearance. First in Ballard, then near the Zoo, now, apparently, hanging out with the old folks in Shoreline. Check out a map of the bear sightings here.

People have decided that our Seattle bear needs a name. Suggestions include: Ursus Urban and Leif Bearickson. My personal favorite: "Since the bear is on the loose, running rampant, and being monitored with very little change in the situation, could we call it 'A.I.G.'?"
