Which Of These Things Is Not Like the Others?


It looks like our little Winnie is finally getting the hang of this whole egg thing. At least we think it's Winnie, she seems to be in the general vicinity of the eggs shortly after they are laid..but there is no definitive proof that she's our layer.

Whoever (or is it whomever? I can never remember) she is though, I'd like to have a little chat with her as to her egg-laying location. She is not using the nesting boxes that I made last weekend, preferring instead to lay those suckers right out in the open, on cold hard ground. Ahem. Please use the box, chicken.
