The Stilts

I don't get insanely excited about shoes. Or clothes, for that matter. My style tends strongly towards the comfortable and utilitarian end of the spectrum.

So, it was with slight trepidation that I opened up this box of shoes from Zappos.

I'd ordered heels.

Tall heels.

Heels that would put me four inches closer to being within Chris' air space.

Oh my.

I love these shoes.

Two things about them could be improved upon:

1.  The 7.5 is slightly too big. One half size smaller would be perfect.

2. Knowing how to walk in them would be a big plus.

  1. Are these for the wedding? I like them!

  2. I don't know! It'll depend on our dresses! But if so, that only give me two weeks to learn how NOT to stumble around like a drunken sailor. Time to start practicing!!

  3. You have tiny feet for someone your height. Bandaid makes a blister block you might look into if you don't usually wear heels. Your feet will probably slide forward a bit if you walk or stand a lot, which tends to happen at weddings.

    Those are gorgeous.

  4. Sonja - I love you! You are adorable. I can't walk in heels either...I always end up walking like a duck.

  5. Walking in tall heels truly takes practice. And to think, I never gave those runway models any credit. ;)

Bri- Thanks for the blister block tip; good thinking, I think something in that vein is a definite necessity at this point. I was at a funeral last weekend (wearing my only other pair of heels) and was practically a cripple by the time I got home..

  6. They're AMAZING! Love.
