I went down to the fabric store with my mom a few weeks ago and picked out the pattern and fabric for Ben’s birthday overalls.
I like the pattern: it’s definitely a baby/toddler style, rather than a more grown-up kid overall.... but I’m ok with that. I don’t want my sweet boy to grow up too quickly. Besides, it was listed as ‘easy’. Sold.
The main material is a soft charcoal corduroy and the interfacing has little blue birds. Nice and simple.
I’ve started work, with significant guidance from my mom. Reading the pattern was a heck of a lot more difficult that I had anticipated. Especially if you don’t know all the terminology. Thanks for the assistance, Mama!
