Adventures with Cloth Diapers

Blog Peeps -

You probably know that we gave up cloth diapers when Benjamin was six months old but my friend Megan has stuck with it and just wrote a nice little summary of her experiences and recommendations.

It can be found here.

Definitely a great resource if you're considering the cloth diaper route.

And another resource is my pal Amanda down in Oklahoma and her site Fluffy Bums for Dum Dums. She found a few brands that she loved - and that worked well for both her kiddos.

  1. Thanks for the mention! And six months is not too shabby :)

  3. We had a period in there where he was sick and we were traveling and then I was sick and I found myself using disposables during those times and then we just never went back.

We're at the stage now where he literally won't sit still for five seconds so diapering has become a monumental undertaking. I barely have time to slap a disposable diaper on, not to mention a cloth one.

    Oh well.

  4. If you were ever interested in trying again...pockets are GREAT and go on just as fast as a sposie. :) Especially if you use velcro. And I can tell you how to keep your velcro fresh. Just drop me a line if you ever decide to try again. I have mine still and will try them on the kids when it gets warm again. See if they find them more amusing when they can see them. :)
